So far my journey on the open road has been within the confinement of my rented car, driving between southern cities. What came as a refreshing change was the sailing experience with @AirBnB at the scenic Charleston Harbor.
There truly is nothing more exhilarating than being out in the open waters. And though technically the yatch was manned by Captain Jay @mentalheeling our host, it made me feel an overwhelming feeling of freedom and a reminder to self that: Yes, I am the captain of my own (life)ship.
There were moments on Charleston Harbor that Captain Jay had to vigorously steer the ship into course, much like our everyday lives. We steer ourselves back on to the right tracks when we may feel we have fallen off or lost our direction, or even our lust for life. Troubled waters last but a season.
