LOOKING BACK ON MY FIRST TRIP TO ROME YEARS AGO…

If you told me then that I would be where I am today my response would have been,

“HOW SWAY? GIVE ME THE ANSWERS”.

The dots didn’t

connect

then.

I’m learning that we don’t always have to see the picture

in great detail to trust that life will pan out better than we imagine.

That’s the beauty of faith.

Be grateful for where you are presently and savor these moments because they don’t last forever.

Me: can I have some red pepper flakes with that and cheese?

I guess it’s safe to say that food is religion here. The commandments and laws are not to be broken. @apueela.w and I had a good laugh about this. We met some really passionate individuals and learned a few things that will forever be indelible in our memories.
